In the last days of April, at the headquarters of Małopolska Regional Development Agency S.A. (MARR) in Krakow, the third stationary meeting of the project partners was held. The event lasted from 28 to 30 April and brought together representatives of organisations involved in project work from Poland, Italy and Cyprus.
The meeting in Krakow was opened by Joanna Jakubowska-Łazęcka, representing the host of the event, MARR. She welcomed all the guests and read out a letter prepared especially for the occasion by MARR’s CEO Marcin Kozik.
The centrepiece of the programme was an intensive training on the use of VR tools and the practical application of the functionality of the register being created. The aim of the training was to prepare partner teams for further implementation of innovative solutions, which are a key element of the project.
The training was the first step towards full implementation of the register, which is intended to become a widely available tool to support education and the development of digital competences in professional and educational environments.
One of the highlights of the event was a visit to the Gamification Laboratory at the Cracow University of Economics. It was an opportunity to test a different VR application, which simulates situations related to work or education. Participants at the meeting were able to see how these types of solutions work and how they are used in training or development processes.
In the coming months, pilot workshops will be launched in the partner countries to test the new register in practice. These will not only provide an opportunity to test the operation of the VR system and its functions in real-life scenarios, but will also serve as a stage for UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
Participants’ opinions and suggestions will become the basis for further improvements, so that the final version of the system meets users’ expectations and market realities as closely as possible.
Further stationary meetings of the project partners will also be held in the coming months. These are scheduled to take place in Italy at the headquarters of the Agenzia per lo Sviluppo Empolese Valdelsa (ASEV) and in the Cypriot company DEKAPLUS Business Services Ltd.
