VR in education and training. Next pilot workshop launches

The first of three another pilot workshops planned as part of an international project dedicated to the use of VR technology in education and training launches on 5 July in Cyprus. The project focuses on the practical application of immersive tools in learning processes and aims to support employee mobility and promote the building of competences useful in the Modern Business Services sector. The workshops organised are intended to contribute directly to the realisation of these objectives.

The first workshop is being prepared by the Cypriot company DEKAPLUS Business Services Ltd. The workshop will take place in Limassol and will run until 29 July. A group of ten participants will work with ready-made scenarios and VR equipment, learning how to use the technology in education and create engaging training environments that foster interpersonal skills.

Just a few days later, on 14 July, Italian organisation Euro-Net will begin its activities. Its workshop will take place in Potenza and, like the Cypriot one, will focus on the practical testing of the educational materials and tools developed.

In July, the project leader Syntea S.A. will also start its workshop.
