The project leader conference is behind us!

The conference ”Innovative education using micro-credentials and virtual reality in the light of the current challenges faced by the EU” is now behind us. During the event, we talked about the results of the Training Registry of the Modern Business Services Sector project, modern technologies supporting educational processes, and the hot topic of civil defence and behaviour in crisis situations. Participants also learned about the world of Micree® – an innovation that is changing the approach to education and qualification acquisition.

The conference was opened by Piotr Fałek (President of the Management Board, Syntea S.A.), who emphasised the importance of implementing new educational solutions that respond to the current challenges facing the EU. Next, Paweł Karczmarzyk (Project Coordinator, Syntea SA) presented the results and products developed as part of the project, drawing attention to the practical application of tools supporting the development of competences in the modern business services sector.

During the speech by Radosław Panas (President of the Management Board, VCC Foundation), a virtual reality demonstration was also held. We were transported to the world of Micree®, where, in a specially prepared virtual space, event participants could experience first-hand what it is like to encounter a crisis situation and try to deal with a rapidly developing threat. This civil defence training scenario proved to be an excellent combination of learning, teamwork and practical preparation for potentially dangerous situations.

After the coffee break, an inspiring panel discussion took place, which showed that despite many challenges, introducing innovation into the education system is not only possible but also necessary in order to respond to the needs of today’s students and the realities of the labour market.
